Grapes

 

A grape is a fruiting berry of the deciduous woody vines of the botanical genus Vitis. Grapes can be eaten raw or they can be used for making wine, jam, juice, jelly, grape seed extract, raisins, vinegar, and grape seed oil. Grapes are a non-climacteric type of fruit, generally occurring in clusters.

Pears

 

Sweet, delicious and rich flavored pears offer crunchiness of apples yet juicy as peach and nectarine. They are widely popular, especially in the whole of the northern hemisphere, for their unique nutrient qualities.
Botanically, it is a "pome fruit” produced by the tree belonging to the family of Rosaceae, in the genus: Pyrus. Pome fruit family also includes apple, loquat, medlar...etc. Scientific name: Pyrus communis.

Pomegranate

 

The pomegranate has been mentioned in many ancient texts, notably in Babylonian texts, the Book of Exodus, the Homeric Hymns and the Quran. In recent years, it has become more common in the commercial markets of North America and the Western Hemisphere

Pomegranates are used in cooking, baking, juices, smoothies and alcoholic beverages, such as martinis and wine.

Pineapple

 

Pineapples are consumed fresh, cooked, juiced, and preserved, and are found in a wide array of cuisines. In addition to consumption, in the Philippines the pineapple's leaves are used to produce the textile fiber piña- employed as a component of wall paper and furnishings, amongst other uses.

Butter fruit

 

Scientific name of Butter fruit is Persia Americana and it belongs to Loresia family. In English we call it as Avacado .

Butter fruit contains more proteins and carbohydrates. It has fiber, energy niacin, calcium, vitamin C, magnesium and potassium also. It contains healthy fat. So it is very good for weak people.

Butter fruit has light yellow colored very smooth pulp inside. We can remove it from a spoon. But don’t keep it open in the air because pulp will turn to brown colour. So after cutting the fruit we have to use it immediately. To get maximum benefit from the fruit, it is better to eat the whole fruit. We can eat the fruit with sugar also.

Blend the pulp finely and add sugar to it and keep it in the refrigerator. When it becomes cold, we can eat it as ice cream. Grind the butter fruit pulp, milk and little water in the mixer to prepare butter fruit milk shake. Add chocolate syrup to it to prepare chocolate butter fruit milk shake. Children love this. Add little salt and pepper powder to butter fruit pulp and use it in the sandwich.
